Details of the Charity Program:
Dear Community members,
BUFLA has always stood for the needy and under privileged. We are very fortunate that we are proud citizens of this country and we the Bangladeshi American people are very hard working and family oriented. But even in this country we can see tons of people that are less fortunate. Lots of people do not have any shelter and even food and clothing.
BUFLA wants to do charity work for these less fortunate people. We are not asking you to donate money but instead we ask that you donate old clothing which you are not using any more. We preferably ask you to donate men’s clothing such as pants, shirts, socks, Shoes (Tennis), dress shoes, and women’s clothing such as pants and large tops.
This is the time to clean up your closets and instead of dumping your old clothing into trash , donate to the BUFLA Charity. Please donate the above items to BUFLA Charity as soon as possible.
The Los Angeles area Residents, please pack your used clothing and call Dr. Hashem at 213-200-0984 to pick up your items . Don’t hesitate to call him.
The San Fernando Valley Residents, please call your area coordinator Mr. Shamsuddin Manik at 818-744-6284 and Jashim Ahmed at 818-987-7454 to pick up your donation items.
