Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BUFLA) donated $5000 to build 11 new homes for the cyclone ravaged community in Shyamnagar, Satkhira, Bangladesh. The program was coordinated by BUFLA Executive Member Anisur Rahman. This village is officially named “BUFLA Polli” or Village by the local Thana Executive Officer or UNO. BUFLA also helped repair 5 other homes damaged by the cyclone.
